Featured in countless newspaper and magazine articles including Wired and The Wall Street Journal, HDFEST® attracted the attention and support of industry players across the entertainment spectrum.
Along the way, the HDFEST® team has met with hundreds of filmmakers, producers, and film and television industry professionals who attended festivals as participating filmmakers, guests, judges, expert speakers and panelist. For several years, the HDFEST® website was the second most visited film festival website in the world with thousands of pages of content, including independent shorts, animation, art, celebrity interviews and more. HDFEST® evolved into one of the largest film related websites on the web and at one point achieved an Alexa ranking as high as 20,000 globally and 15,000 in the US.
HDFEST® proudly served as the first high-definition experience for thousands of event attendees and countless independent filmmakers, film and television industry professionals, media and more. HDFEST® tirelessly promoted the revolutionary technology of high-definition at a time when most people, and even most filmmakers, were unware of its existence. Today, high-definition is truly ubiquitous and HDFEST® was there at the very beginning of the entertainment industry’s embracing of this powerful and transformative technology.

During our panels and educational seminars, we had the opportunity to learn from some of the entertainment industry’s greatest minds and most accomplished professionals. Our love of film and digital cinema lead to the creation of HDFEST® Studios: a natural outgrow of our long and productive experience creating and operating the world’s first high-definition film festival.
