From Torgunn "This is a live performance recording made in my studio- Practically a mini-concert. And I've put effort in arranging this in a simple yet lively way. Joar Kråkevik plays electric guitar, and I sing and play acoustic guitar and later in the song, flute. The animated bugs, stars, moths and flowers are made in Flash and the video and animation are put together afterwards. The sound is one take (no clips), mixed afterwards and some choir and a flute is added in the end."

BAND BIO

TORGUNN performs live as a duo with Joar Kråkevik, "space echo" and guitar wizz, on electric guitar and effects, and Torgunn Flaten on vocal and acoustic guitar. The music can be described as impressionistic, guitarbased, melodic with own harmonic moods, with an intuitive and personal expression.

At her studio in Oslo, Torgunn does recordings, producing and arranging on her songs, using different tools and things from wherever and whatever e.g things from the kitchen: pots, bowls, bicycle-wheels, rasps, plastic garbage... Other instruments can be fiddle with two strings or different flutes. Experiencing working as a soundengineer in films and documentaries, there is no limits, only it sounds like it can be of any use.
The live video “Icecold & Blue” was released in feb 2007. Nov 2007 she released her first EP “Days of Joy” at Feededlity Recordings.

”Days of Joy” is a downtempo, all acoustic, spelling track, that deserve listeners. A strong melodic base from the deep woods with sighing guitars, tantallizing flutes made with truth and beauty.
