He had also developed a love for composition and started to compose while still in high school. He was part of the school choir and participated regularly in all the concerts at school, accompanying, performing with the orchestra and even conducting. He also took private vocal lessons and joined the Bangkok Opera and the Orpheus Choir of Bangkok for two years prior to moving to Los Angeles. His first main credits as a composer were in a dance program where he was asked to write music encompassing the theme of the four elements. The result was an instrumental suite entitled THE FOUR ELEMENTS which was choreographed and performed at the IASAS Dance Showcase 2006. He also scored a dark comedy Pool Party! directed by fellow classmate Aaron Botwick.

Among his other accomplishments as a composer are a score for a comedy short by Axuan M. Vrolijk entitled BOX! The Epic, and the first movement of his first symphony entitled Abhaimani Symphony based on the Thai epic poem of the same name by Sunthorn Phu. He also wrote an instrumental/choral piece based on a poem from Dante’s La Vita Nuova entitled Gentil pensero che parla di vui as well as a series of hybrid orchestral-electronic pieces, namely Pelius D’Aionios and Eastern Skies which he recently dedicated to the Thai Language Department at the International School Bangkok where he graduated from high school. A piece that drew much attention and acclaim was a dance piece entitled Heartbeat dedicated to Christine von Korff who choreographed and performed it for the first time in 2006.

In the summer of 2007, he joined the creative team of younger programmers who had the vision to create a computer game entitled Elemental Dimentalia. During that summer, he worked closely with the team and wrote what became the main theme of the game. The project is still in production and the piece remains as Elemental Dimentalia: Opening Theme. As well as being a composer, he is also a writer and has written short stories and poetry including a thriller short ‘No Way Out’ and a poem entitled 'The Results of Thy Embellishments'. He continues to write in his spare time.

He moved to Los Angeles in the fall of 2007 to pursue a career in film music and is attending the Film Scoring Certificate Program at UCLA Extension. In response to the death in early 2008 of HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana, who was a strong supporter of classical music and fine arts in Thailand, he wrote a piece in-tribute entitled In Memoriam. The piece was broadcasted via radio on January 13, 2008 in the radio programme ‘Weekend Concert’ 18.05-18.55 hr. It will be broadcasted again in the Feb.-Mar. Classical Music Radio programme (21.35-23.55 daily). The piece was presented by host Seesom Eamsunpang via the Classical Music programme at the Chula Radio station 101.5 FM.

He has recently completed the score for Japanese horror short Mantis which was entirely produced and dubbed at his studio in Los Angeles and is now at work on director Shun O’hara’s next independent feature Death Game: Power. He is also scheduled to score a British horror film directed by upcoming director Oliver Hollingdale.Apart from work in film, Nistades is also collaborating with upcoming artist, Jean-Luc duChatellier on his debut album Deep in Thought. He works out of his studio at home in Los Angeles, where he lives with his mother.
