Music is the one constant in my lifetime. I have turned to music for pleasure, escape, motivation, and sometimes, just anger. There is always some genre of music that fits my many moods. Most of which are dark in nature. Comes from all the damn cloudy days and snow in Michigan as a child I guess.

There is really nothing in the music industry that I have not done. After giving up playing I got involved in tour managing and then artist management. That progressed to engineering, producing and then starting an “indie” label. It all drained me dry so I had to start again in a new direction. I had it in my blood and needed to start creating myself.

I am a descendant of the Tchaikovsky family so maybe this was a path not chosen by myself. In any case I find the creation of music the most rewarding exercise I can participate in.
My early influence were in the likes of “Cream”, the MC5, “Black Sabbath”, “Deep Purple” and “Pink Floyd”. And later I was just as influenced by “Ministry”, “Metallica”, “Alice in Chains” and “Nirvana”.
