Impostor
Here Is What You Need To Know:
Every now and then our friends out in Hollywood toss out a film that doesn't make too much sense. Impostor is one of those films. It is yet another, yes another, film based on a Philip K. Dick story. Don't you ever feel sorry for the poor slobs out there writing new and innovative science-fiction? Who are these executives that feel that the Dick name really drives people to the theaters? It doesn't as most of us mere mortals don't even know the name.
Here is what else you need to know. Impostor is the story of a super-brainy scientist who develops a super-weapon to help fight off some alien baddies. Only problem is that he falls under suspicion of being an alien, oops.
What Was Cool:
-Not enough
-Some of the props are decent, I guess
What Was Stupid:
-Going to Dick once more, enough already, enough.
-Gary Sinise, seems like a nice guy but he can't carry a film unless it has a handle.
The Film's Real Genius or Geniuses:
Philip K. Dick, like a really long time ago. Geez.
