Director Biography

My first contact with animation was in 1994 when a good friend told me about  3d studio r2 (3dsmax dos version). It was so great just to see a little ball quicking. “Waaaaoh I’m animator”. A lot of emotions to make animations, I decided to “produce” a short film, but it didn’t work. Little frustated, I left the 3d for a while. In 1998, I decided to make a 2D animation course at Otto Desenhos Animados. I told them that I was doing little animations and I would like to receive a critic. I was very surprised to be invited to work there to make 2D animation compositing and also 3D. I learnt many tips and tricks of animation in this company. We produced many publicities, short-films and a full-length film.
I worked there until 2004, when I decided to get married with my french woman (it is a so beautiful and long love story). Moved to Paris, I looked for a job in the animation studios, with no great result. So I decided to improve my skills. During 2 years at Itecom school, I made 2 short films: The Sidestepping and Zzzzleeping Beauty (You can watch both of them on my site www.marcosmeneghetti.com). During my 3D course, I worked at Matamore Studio and I made some 3D animations for tv and films. At moment I’m working as freelancer on a project involving 3D avatars.
