Summary:

In a meadow we discover a peaceful environment where clockwork creatures live in harmony with nature.  We discover that they have been created by a giant, mechanical, robot.  Suddenly they are under attack from an outside force, using aerial machines to bomb them. The smoke clears and the small creatures surround their giant, fallen creator. They tend to him and mend him and he awakes, alive again.

Director's Statement

Birdengine uses found objects and outlandish sound samples to create his unique music.  We enjoyed creating a world only informed by sounds (there are no lyrics). We complemented the music by creating a world patched together with hand made imagery and found objects (which were photographed and scanned).  It was a tricky piece of music to create imagery for that did not distract the viewer from the music but accompanied and embellished it.
