Rolf is very happy about his brand-new "Video3000" VCR. But while starting up he recognizes that the remote control is not working properly: Instead of controlling the VCR, the remote control affects the real world. While playing with the availible buttons "Play" "Pause" "FastForward" "FastRewind", Rolf discovers another button he disregarded so far...

Additional information:
This short-movie was realized as a semester project in 2006 during 4 months at the Hochschule der Medien Stuttgart (Stuttgart Media University) in Germany. The movie is a combination of a real miniature set and a computer animated 3D character. The challenge was the integration and interaction of the virtual character with the real scene. For the images of the stopmotion elements and the real set, a 16 Megapixel SLR was mounted on a motion control system which took the pictures frame by frame. The movie was completely produced in HD.

Biographies
Jörg Edelmann, Jörn Großhans, Jochen Hausecker, Simon Schleidt und Marc Schleiss studied audiovisual media at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM). Over the years each of them has received great experience in movie production, animation and postproduction. After finishing their studies they are working now as media professionals in Stuttgart, Hamburg, Munich and Saigon/Vietnam.
