Synopsis:

In 1957, the American superhero, Spaceman, is blacklisted as a communist! With his trusty robot sidekick, he must fight his way through car chases, raygun shootouts, tentacle monsters, and giant explosions to prove his innocence!

Born into a creative and ambitious family of musicians, inventors, and business executives, Shant Hamassian is armed to the teeth with exceptional skills of writing, acting, and film directing.

As an illustration major of Art Center College of Design, he had his early success with his first short film, The Slowww Zombie, which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival-Short Film Corner. He was also nominated and has won awards at other festivals while still an undergraduate.

Shant is a man who firmly believes in making sophisticated entertainment that reaches the widest possible audience in order to enlighten people's minds. The most influential filmmakers for Shant are Terry Gilliam, Charlie Chaplin, and Sam Raimi.

Shant's latest project, Spaceman on Earth, connects the 1950's to present day through subject matter and filmmaking style. The movie pushes storytelling, whether a tv series or film, to a whole new level.

As of now, his project is gaining a lot of momentum and the ball is already rolling...
