Nightfall" is a private film production without any commercial benefits. Story and visual elements created by Valentin Schwind. The soundtrack is composed by Ivelina Nedyalkova and has been recorded with the help of the professors, assistents and tutors of the Stuttgart Media University (HdM Stuttgart). This movie has been created in 3 years, using only five PCs. Software used: Autodesk 3ds max 7-9 & combustion 4, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & Premiere Pro and cakewalk Sonar 6 on Windows XP (32 and 64-bit).Thanks go to: Reinhold Fragner, Katrin Jeriga, Simon Richter, to our parents, Beate Schlitter, Heiko Schulz, Lars Kiefer, Felipe Sanchez, Prof. Dr. Curdt and Prof. Dr. Hahn.

Valentin Schwind was born in 1982 in Stuttgart, Germany. Since 2003 he is studying media computer science (diploma) at the Stuttgart Media University. He is working there as a tutor and as freelancer for 3d artworks and computer animations. Recently he is completing his degree dissertation in a thesis about dynamic character animation in virtual worlds. After his first short movie and computer animation "Redemption" was finished, he began to write the story about a huge ringworld. Almost three years later "Nightfall" received its premiere at the Medianight in Stuttgart.

Composer Ivelina Nedyalkova

Ivelina Nedyalkova was born 1982 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Since 2001 she lives in Germany and studied Audiovisual Media (Bachelor) also at the Stuttgart Media University. When Vali was amid his work he heard her amazing piano playing and he convinced her to produce the soundtrack for "Nightfall". Seven months later she accompanied and mastered the digital sound recordings on piano and led the dubbing of the instruments. Now she is studying Master of Arts at the Stuttgart Media University.
