Synopsis
Sometimes the distance between two points can be greater than the actual measurements. Or sometimes they can be closer than imagined. L.A Wedding Even is a short film which examines, with insight and warmth that only an insider of both cultures can infuse, the similarities and dissimilarities of Japan and US. the film was truly an international production- shot in rainy LA, by Japanese and US staff and cast.

Director Biography
Akira Uchikata is a young veteran tv director now focused on international filmmaking. He has excelled in several genres, including drama, action, comedy and suspense. Born in Osaka, Uchikata studied at Osaka Prefecture University, where he attained his BA degree in science and techhnology. Hired as an assistant director in 1995 by Asahi Broadcasting Corporation, one of Japan's most important networks, Uchikata learned his craft on the omnibus drama Panic Movie Festival, filmed in New York City and The Urban Police 25, the longest drama in Japan, having been on the air since 1958.
