Synopsis:

Academy Award winner Linda Hunt narrates a day in the life of Sharon (Fay Masterson) as she struggles with a recent divorce and a current perception problem. A visually stunning adaptation of Betty Malicoat's short story of the same name.

Part live action, part animation, 'The Crooked Eye' dreamily weaves between past and present, delicately painting a psychological portrait of a troubled woman.

In addition to Fay Masterson ('Eyes Wide Shut,' 'The Lost Skeleton of Cadavra') the film also stars Katherine Boecher ('Crossroads,' 'The Spy Next Door', Joe Duer ('Charlie's Angels') and Clement Blake ('Superbad,' 'Magnolia').

D.C. Douglas (Frank/Director) has been a voice over and character actor for over twenty years. Recent TV credits include Without A Trace, 24, What About Brian, and Hallmarks' mini-series Final Approach. Upcoming films include Change Your Life with Tony Plana, Universal Remote with Charles Q. Murphy and Deadwater with Lance Hendriksen.

The Crooked Eye marks DC's 5th film short in the last 10 years. His first film, Falling Words, received a Special Commendation from the Canadian International Film Festival. His last film, Duck, Duck, GOOSE!, played over twenty festivals worldwide and won several awards including Best Film Short in Seattle.
